I was stuck with dozens of cars today on the NA road ...masked & fully equipped police forces reportedly killed some guys who wanted to have some fun and watch a football match for a change!! Their crime that deserved the immediate death sentence was "overcrowding"!!


Fans were running for their lives all over the place, I found a teen you'll smell the tear gas" then he ran. There was no where to go!..the road is literally cutting the desert...police knew what they were doing, they were targeting those guys and letting cars pass "peacefully"....mini buses were all over the place trying to pick up what they can...many cars were stuck in the sand trying to find a way off the road..I saw 2 groups crossing the road in front of me carrying a couple of guys wounded...I didn't see them shooting tear gas, but I saw the smoke. I was there late enough...after I passed the stadium there were very few cars on the road, lights were off and once I crossed the new bridge and reached around downtown it was as if I reached another planet!! I bet people were smoking Shisha and cracking up in the cafes that are just a couple of minutes drive from that tragedy.

Then I recalled Rabia/Nahda/Manasa and other massacres ...and this is when I got overwhelmed...how did we end up living between evil filthy beasts!

Shehab , a student in his 4th year at Helwan university , one of active guys in civil society and he was working in Vodafone UK as call center agent .

" we were next to Zawya mosque , we found people catching a thief and beating him hardly . when we saw this thought to rescue him , we took the thief in to our car away from the people .

we thought to send him to any hospital , but we remembered that no hospital will accept him without writing down a police report first , what we wanted to help him first , so i suggested that delivering him to Alahli bank hospital on the ring road cause they receive the wounded and make first aid then ask for accident reason , what we need is that help him .

on our way to hospital , suddenly pop in car's tires , there was a police ambush near to us , when they heard the sound , immediately they came with a police car , a police officer downed , look to us , without talking pulled our phones and IDs , searched us and the car also , he let us to change tires and then put us in to box (police car ) , we found ourselves inside the police station.

at the police station :-

we entered , they treated us like thieves , damn words and unrespectable methods .

suddenly we heard his voice (thief ) fills the place of severity of the beating . the officer came hold one of us , asked him "what's your name ?" , before replying officer and soldiers hit him and then turned to hit all of us .

at the police director office :-

beating continued in the presence of the director .

in the beginning of next day , one holding a big camera came , soldiers pushed us into line up .

then we knew that video showed up in TV .

at prosecutor office :-

they continuing kicking us till arrival . we found ourselves in front of a man wearing a suit , we knew later that he was the prosecutor .

a story of 3 years started .

after forcing the thief to change his words to make us involved for murder attempting .

and then they related the case to Muslim brotherhood , media said we were MB members beating Muslim brotherhood opponent

Oct , 2013 , the thief said in front of the judge the full story .

but the judge sentenced us 3 years into prison .

mid of 2014 , the court sentenced 3 years in prison for shehab .

the memory for most of egyption youth remembering their friends who had been sent to prisons for fake causes


a memory which egyption army , judges , mubark's business men and the corrupted police were against free youth in streets


a memory for people who believed that the army is the savior and the one able to bring stability


a memory of imprisoning youth inside military prisons


 memory of breaking bond of slavery  ....

this story one of daily stories which happens every day .. in what they call it (new egypt  )but actually we (youth) can't see this

police officer tied a taxi driver hands with seatbelt . you could imagine your old father in same     situation what will you do .. then some honest people crowded against officer and they made a march to take out this injustice
